There's quite a few of us who enjoy talking about various sports and fixtures etc. Please can we have a forum?

    Aye, Rugger world cup!
Also, it can be used to seek certain sports out in your area etc. Say like when all the Grockles come down to the South West in the summer...where's the best places to go waterskiing/wakeboarding etc.

Might be a good idea, but it'd have to have quite a bit of support to work, as I think we've been a bit swamped by new forums lately....

I have no interest in sport whatever so I would certainly be happy for all that stuff to be hived off to a separate forum

I created a football thread. That sank to the bottom. Then I did American sports or something. That also did Titanic.

I reckon a sports forum would simply be unused. I could be wrong but my two threads went into Oblivion.:(

I missed your football thread, John. I'd of replied :)

I'm not so sure we need a whole forum for it either. But I suppose if you maybe worked in health and fitness it could prove popular.

yeh ok, for now if you want to make a sports post, post it in the random forum, then we can see if it would or wouldn't work

this would actually be one that the general consensus seems to want however ... as opposed to a few of the other ones most of us don't know what to do with.

Peace, I do agree...we've been swamped with forums recently. However, most of us voted AGAINST the news forum and it got put up anyway. How about changing the news forum into the sports forum, recycle!

A sports forum wouldn't work and I don't believe it would be a peaceful one either. Can you imagine Chelsea and Milwall chatting peacefully like bosom buddies for long?

A sports forum would never work and I tried a thread. It died. However in place of the news forum, I would call for a Life problem and advice forum or a religion forum.

chill out dudes/ses sports is for gays, its about watching a lot of rich puffs kicking a football around or running round a track to impress everyone, well it dont impress me. I could understand if it was a gold medal for running to catch a bus, but not running round in a circle. I live on a busy street man and I see better athletes running for the bus to cash their dole cheque than in no stadium
