Yeah, the Partridge Family would make a good comparison in overall cheese factor.

 

I love love love the polyphonic spree. Their music is so happy.. well.. most of it. I saw them in concert when they opened for Bowie and it was CRAZY. They were going nuts. I love acid cults that start bands.

I saw one of their performances on TV a couple of months ago. I saw a lot of cult, but no acid there. (And Pressed Rat is right. Very high on the cheese factor).

 

i saw the polyphonic spree in portland in may, they opened for bowie, and i almost walked out, it drove me crazy i couldn't handle it, they are the biggest cheesers of my life, it was awesome to look around and see all the confused faces that people were giving because of the wacks haha

yea theyd have a preview of their song on our lil advertising before the movie previews in our movie theaters.no one really understood exactly what they were trying to do but it was a lil scarry lol

 

i just saw their performance on the vma's last night...or whatever..the lead singer looked like a wack job....for real...weird...
