One of my all time favorites: not many people sing with as much soul as Otis did.

oh yes!! have it, and love it. it is awesome. i heard a story that otis played after jefferson airplane or someone big, so the crowd started to leave, and he started playing, and boy did the crowd change moods!!!!! great story, great footage, just....great!

 

Everybody loves Otis for his fantastic tender ballads and soothing voice. Forget that! I love Otis for his high energy up-tempo live act! 'Gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta gottta' The man didn't even have to sing actual words! Nobody wanted to follow O live. NOBODY!!
