Hi guys and girls.....well, steps 1-4 of the Mycodome were amazingly simple and have so far yielded great results! since sunday I have seen some really nice, full-sized 'shrooms growing wild in my dome; soon it will be time to pick and dry I assume. However, they are all growing out at different rates of course, and some look ready to pick now and move on to drying; but if I need the mycodome for drying, how can I let the rest of the 6 cakes fruit to full yield?

also..... after these have yielded fully, is it just a matter of dunking the cakes again to get them to fruit again [and again]?

thanks a lot - Jai Dee

You don't really need the mycodome to dry them. You would be fine just letting them dry in room temp or use a tupperware bowl with a screen to put the shrooms on and a dessicant at the bottom. As for your second question, you have the right idea. Just dunk em and put em back in. The cakes may be a bit exhausted after 2 batches though.

After two? I hope you don't give up on them that soon. You can get at least five flushes, probably, if you dunk them each time and play your cards right.
