i cant stand people who dont know anything about psychedelics i bring up LSD in a conversation... then they start comparing meth and crack to it, "drugs are drugs" is what they say ive tried pointing them to documentaries, they refuse to watch them how do you deal with people like this?
You talk about something else besides drugs, they obviously don't have that much of an interest in the subject. If someone came up to you and started talking about Vera Wang handbags and you said are they like gucchi handbags and they freaked out and started telling you to watch documentaries about the differences between all the different handbags available, but you had absolutely no interest in handbags and didn't feel like wasting a few hours of your life hearing about them, but they kept on and on about it, what would you say?
easy slip them meth one day and a few days after slip them acid and see what they think. (im just kidding btw) ... if they can still compare the 2 after that tell them to fuck off. I mean seriously show them a dude who's addicted to meth (so basically a dead guy) and show them a kid who trips... if they see any comparisons... there probably on something themselves. honestly I dont even try to talk to people like that because its a waste of my time to try and change their mind over something they have such strong feelings towards. I love though when you talk about lsd and then people say something like yah wouldnt it be cool to try the drug acid....and your like um dude thats what i've been talking about the entire time lol
lol i get a realllly hard time from most of my friends (who dont trip or do anything drug-related) they are so brainwashed by their parents and the rest of society it is really frustrating trying to explain to them sometimes how acid and shrooms do NOTHING to ur body, yet they think they'r all harcore and itll fuck ur life up if u do them. god it is really sad wwat our society has come to

Yeah I hate people like that, just the other day these kids were talking about special K and then this kid is like "oh dont fuck with that thats like pcp and meth"...so I had to slide on over and enlighten them with some knowledge because I couldn't just sit there and listen to them any longer
its not like i bring up the subject for a conversation, how it usually goes is this person hears about someone drinking and driving(as stupid as it is) then goes on about how people are stupid to do drugs because he heard about this person who killed himself doing this... the stuff people learn from school and such... one time LSD came up in class, and for some reason not many people know about it(even though i would have to say its one of the more famous drugs, lots of history etc) so they talk about bad trips and people killing themselves, etc etc, then i try to explain how these people dont prepare themselves, arent in the right setting, and it turns out the whole class vs me ive tried bringing in papers supporting the benefits of some drugs, what they have done for the world; but they just refuse to read them so i have pretty much just gave up now, i try hard not to say anything but it does get annoying when they think they know what they are talking about

Here's a scenario. The bell rings for class to start. It's monday morning at another week of school. A group of kids are in the corner discussing their weekends. "Dude, I got soo wasted this weekend!" chimes one burly-looking boy. "I don't remember a thing. Except you puking out your guts the entire night!" They laugh. One girl starts to speak. "You guys, Sarah lost her virginity that night! She was so drunk!" The group turns to William, who is sittting near by. "Hey, William. Did you do anything awesome this weekend?" "Eh, not really." "What, you didn't drink? It was a big party weekend!" WIlliam shrugs. "I smoked a bowl with some friends after work. That's about it." The group stares in silence. Suddenly: "That's fucked up dude. Drugs are just dumb." Girl: "William! I didn't know you were a stoner!" Other guy: "That shit's a waste of time." Okay, so I know this scenario is really extreme. But it's a good example of what happens a lot in high school. Happened to this kid right in front of me. So pretty much a true story. Can't remember exactly what was said. But it's just an example of uneducated people.
I am in a town where staight-edge scene kids thrive amongst us. But then again I am also in a town where alcohol abusing preppy kids are left and right aswell. I'm in highschool, I know. (it's also funny how straight edge kids around here bitch about drugs (they also go to school). Well A) half the straight edge kids fail and drop the fuck out (something people claim stoners do half the time), cause they are too worried about looking good and being 'in' and acting like they are pure souls. While the stoners and kids who love getting smashed every weekend stay to their preppy ways of acing every damn class) I like alcohol, and LSD. Actually after taking LSD I didn't even really care for alcohol as much, so mostly just LSD now. I don't know why but in this city if you share with someone else that you do LSD you're worthy of being talked about as crazy person behind your back. I can't stand hearing the side conversations every monday about getting wasted over the weekend. But then again I do have my own crowd, and we always do share our 'funny ass cid-triping-balls experience'. It is what it is. I am very pre-educated for anything I'm about to try. I love reading, that scenario above sounds typical. But alcohol and weed are very different to begin with anyway. Getting wasted, you do stupid shit, but when it's done it's done. It's nasty shit to your body no doubt, but I never heard of anybody getting burnt-out from alcohol use. Maybe burning their wallets as they get heavily addicted, but the prep-drinking-kids at my school maintain their grades. On the other hand, theres the kids who love weed like a brother. They always smoke weed, and they don't give a shit about anything. I was doing good with some girl until she started smoking weed, then she just suddenly didn't care for a relationship. If I got drunk with her, a relationship seemed like all she wanted (lmao). Ofcourse we had lots of sober experiences outweighing the experimenting, but it just shows what pot does on the negative side. Some people can handle pot and being responsible, other people like her, just get really fucking burnt. She use to be intelligent, now she can't spit an intellectual statement out, and all her conversations have to do with getting fucked up. It's pestering, I feel like I watched somebody kill themselves. But anyway, back to LSD. Most people also claim it stays in your spine FOREVER AHHA! Bullshit, read erowid. But they are too ignorant to read about what alcohol does so reading about LSD is just a waste of time. There is nothing you can do with them, you could try and prove you wrong, but what's the point? To them you'd be nothing but an acid head or a stoner. It's not addictive, it's just crazy shit.
