hi everybody. Im not trying to hate I am just confused and I dont know how it is to be bi. But I heard that if you are a man and you are attracted to men then you are born that way. It is sort of a medical condition, so how can you be bi? Help... Sincerely, Steve My Personals Profile
homosexuality is generally accepted to be a preference that a person is born with. But most homosexuals and bisexuals, myself included, would not say that their sexual preference is a medical condition, because it implies something is wrong with them. Just as it is possible for someone to be gay because they are born with it, it is the exact same situation with bisexuals. Think of bisexuality as a person who likes coke and pepsi, he was born with the taste for both, while others were born with a taste for one or the other.
I thought I was straight for awhile. Cause I was and still am attracted to certain girls, I've had sex before with a female, but I also get turned on by a friend of mine that is male. That is how I know you can be bi, plus way back there were some bi-sexual Romans. Oh and if everyone "was" totally straight then there wouldn't be any of the bisexual videos out there. Here some info on Bisexuality: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisexuality Plus here is a page about the Kinsey_scale that applies to everyones sexual orientation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale Hope that helps!
obviously it is...well to me anyway because I have had feelings for both sexes..I really don't know, it's so weird. I wish I was just gay or straight. being bi sucks, especially when gay people don't think your legit and neither do straight people...in fact, for awhile, I MYSELF though bi people were really just very sexual people.
I believe homosexuality occurrs at a very young age (but not birth) when you're very influensable. A small hint that gave sexual thoughts towards males rather than females (or vice versa for girls) would put that attraction in your subconscious until you reach puberty where it shows itsself as full blown physical attraction which is only strengthened by the excitement of the "forbidden feeling". Bisexuality is very possible and can relate to a wide variety of people, who could be 10% gay or 90% gay... IMO In addition, I believe that if you try to block out homosexual thoughts and feelings, over a long period of time, you could train yourself to be straight... not that it's worth the trouble, but I think being gay isn't set in stone unless you let it be
I would'nt call being gay or bi a medical condition it's not like you can take anti-biotics and be cured and striaght.I find that a bit insulting,I know you meant no harm. It's Ok. I don't know if anyone is born gay or bi that could be a debate,It's absolutely possible and I'd really like to know,I can't say but I definetely do believe that everyone has the potential at least to be gay or bi when they're born some much much more than others.Outside influences and inside play a part to what those children will be,identify with and become, ect. for Bi and Gay peoples we're just being who we are and doing what is natural, I myself don't really understand why there is so much hate against us. I did not choose to be Bi.I realized that I was earlier in life,I did'nt go out of my way to "become" this way it's just who I am.I would'nt condemn a tall person for being tall and force them to try to become shorter.Because tall people freak me out and alot of people are short. That would be ridiculous. Some people just want to pick a fight with someone, anyone. By the way I don't care who's short or tall.I'm tall and have no problem with anyones height lol. It's all good Hope that helps, Joey*
In most cases, it's not that people hate us. It's that they hate what we do. And I think most of it is due to religion. I am, sort of, Christian, and if it weren't for the Bible saying that homosexuality is bad, I truthfully could find no harm in same sex relationships.
