At the begining of July I bought a DVD through amazon.com (used) from a third party business. Nothing ever showed up. I have sent various e-mails to the contact address for the third party seller and have not yet recieved any responce. Does anyone know what I should do now? I've never had this happen before with an online transaction.

I would leave the seller negative feedback and then contact Amazon.com and let them know about the situation. I doubt they can do anything about getting your money or dvd but I would think they would care if someone was going through them to cheat people.

Contact Amazon. I don't buy much through them, but they should have some sort of reporting mechanism like ebay has.

Don't buy DVD's, download illegal ones. Reduce the demand for DVD's, the price will go down, and / or the quality will increase. Besides, they movies earn enough off of their theatre premieres.
