Ok..so I read in the news the other day that, as a result of the whole Shipman disaster, RCGP ( royal college of general practitioners) have proposed to now video doctors with their patients. Plus, there are four yearly checks they have to pass. I think this is a fantastic idea, as I myself have faced near death due to a doctors neglect ( and as a child too) - but more horrific is how common this seems to be, for all ages! Not suprisingly some doctors object to this. It'd be nice to think every doctor chose that career so that they can aid and assist in the well-being of his/her community..as every lawyer or judge is there to see justice in this world. What a shame that quotes in the Big Issue like this - "many of us can raise our game in front of the camera and might do things that we would not ordinarily do" seem to suggest otherwise. If you got nothing to hide, what's the problem? What do you guys think? Marie-Clare xxx
