how do i do it? ive been DYING to, but, i mean...is there a certain way of meditating?
when i sit very still and quietly, i hear and see things, but i feel like i can see and hear a whole lot more if i do it properly...?...if that makes any sense!

i've been practicing on blocking stuff out for years- it took me that long! i can do it pretty easily now:).
i can only get as far as hearing (oddly enough) other people talking, little bits of conversations im not a part of, loud noises every once in a while, and little flashes of images. but i want to go further into my mind and the universe and see what else i can come up with.

I'm not really sure. I just kind of sit down, cross my legs because its comfortable, and "relax and float downstream". I see weird colors, my breathing changes, and I feel myself staring off into space even though my eyes are closed.

Except I don't meditate on acid.

it's a bit tricky to train yourself to meditate - getting yourself centered and all such things... but good luck with it though! :D I've been finding myself especially stressed the last few weeks, and taking 15 minutes twice or thrice a week to meditate has helped quite a bit...

I would love to be able to get into that but I really don't have the time. If I do sit quietly on my own I tend to start zoning in on my pulse, which then annoys me and can't clear my mind at all. I tried quite a few times ...then gave up.

How-to-meditate.org is where I get my info.

It takes me about 10 minutes to get into the zone, infact I ahven't done so today. I'm going to try it now. Good luck with this, meditation is an awesome thing bro.
