    Heyyy everyone,

Well first, a few days ago i was trying to fix some loose hair problems by making holes in the dreads and shoving the loose hair into them followed by some palm/wool rubbing to keep it in place...anyways, i accidently made a hole too close to the side and it tore off half the dread. well i tried to solve it by making a wrap but i dont sew and i found it difficult to make a wrap out of anything i had. but i thought of using a shoestring and tying it like the spiral part of a noose around the damamged part. so i was wondering what some advantages/disadvantages of this method, if you dont know what im talking about jst say something and ill try and get a picture to show.

Also, whenever i wash my dreads, my scalp usually hurts for a little while after that and i think its due to the weight of the dreads when the water is being 'sponged' into the hair. I was wondering if the pain lessens as the hair gets heavier or will each passing time period become more and more painful?

    Thanks, later all.

I'm not exactly sure what your describing but the shoestring thing... thats a rap. its really easy to especially if you have someone help. You just make a long loop... lay it parallel to the lock...rap up the loop.....stick the end you rap up into the loop... pull the bottom part and it pulls the loop down into the body of the "noose" i hope this makes sense

ive had a wrap in for 6 months...
had another one in for about the same amount of time and cut it out...
it didnt get moldy or anything like that under the hemp so you will be fine for a while.
