So I was bored today and I decided that i felt like making something so I decided "why not make a light bulb vape" So I built the thing in 15 minutes and it looked promising. I felt the need to try it out so I got a little bit of weed and went outside. Instead of A lighter, I lit a long candle because i didn't want to waste the lighter fluid. So I took three hits and 5 minutes later I was super baked. I wasn't even planning on getting high. I have only been this baked one other time in the 2 years I've been smoking. It doesn't smell at all(maybe the tiniest bit) so I would definitely recommend one of these if your trying to smoke in your room. They are very simple to make. I used this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEiJaHlUpyE arty:
they work OK but id still rather smoke out of a glass piece, still, props for making one succesfully!
Do they work better than a glass pipe? I was like a minute away from gutting a lightbulb, but then I read this lol.
They work just as good if you engineer it right. I've made one before, the problem is that they break easier than all other types of pipes, but they are simple as fuck to make. http://www.drugsandbooze.com/showthread.php?t=4738 Picture guide for you all. you just need a light bulb, bottle cap, tape, and a knife
Vaporization gives you a different high, so it depends on if you want that or not. When you vaporize cannabis only Thc gets injected, as opposed to smoking it where you get Cdb's and CBd's and other cannabinoids that are responsible for different parts of your high. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabinoids
hellfire, try it for yourself! They are extremely simple to make. Don't holdthe flame on the lightbulb, But about an inch or so below it. U won't be breathng in smoke but vapor. Btw the terrible typing is due to typing on a phone
Lots of people (including me) describe it as a very clear-headed high. I don't experience the same lazy relaxation as I do when I've smoked. It's relaxing, it's just that I don't feel my entire body sagging, and my eyes aren't so fucked up. I do, however, find that inhaling the vaporized material makes me cough much more easily than smoking ever did. I prefer to listen to music after vaping because I can think a lot better about what I'm hearing. Sometimes if I'm really baked after smoking music just overwhelms me. And two very important things to consider: 1. You can use a LOT less weed. Using the scientific pinch measurement, I can get noticeably high (though not super baked) off two or three pinches. Put that number up to about five (although if you're using a light bulb like me you might want to do that in two seperate vaporizing rounds so you don't spend forever heating it up...) and you're well on your way. 2. Vaping does not reek nearly as much as smoking. Someone could walk into my room right after I finish with my light bulb vapo and never know what happened.
yeah i made a lightbulb vap and it got me high but id still rather use my glass piece, i ended up vaping it then just puting the remains into my piece, i figure anything that i make at home will definitly not make me as high as buying a piece or a bong etc
they are good fun for a bit. But i wouldnt use one as a regular "smoking" device. But for a stealthy couple of hits somwhere theyre very usefull
yeah i made one a few weeks back...i keep meaning to try it but i can never be bothered..heh..by the sounds of things its worth trying...does anyone here have a proper vapouriser?...are they worth getting?
