http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/somerset/6972070.stm just curious, has anyone here ever dabbled in yoga and found themselves drawn into devil-worship?
i'd been wondering why i tend to like goats now and have a desire to draw pentagrams ... it was all those years practicing yoga.
all ppl have the right to ignorance, prejudice and belief in baptist principles.. Hallelujah ;-) all others of course have the sole right to go to hell ;-) god bless the Somerset Baptists and their progressive ways I say LOL
I think it has something to do with the origins of yoga being in hinduism, but that kind of behaviour will just turn people away from christianity. churches are suppose to be welcoming loving places grrr
nicely stated. i don't get it, the churches banning it and all. but they've got every right to. it is a private religious institution. it's not like people can't go to a less incongruous place for it. seems to me, though, that yoga fits right it. but whatever.
you could say that the churches are actually taking yoga more seriously than its practictioners, many of whom (unlike the poster above) have little interest in its spiritual dimensions.
Hahaha, i remember reading this in the paper-tis ridiculous, some people just have no....reasoning or common sense!!
They cant just do Christian things, theres got to be a bit of somink else thrown in there as well. The first 0 was used in a (Hindu?) temple. Therefore the number system doesnt fit in with Christian ways!! And they shouldnt use it. Although i think they have every right to refuse - If theyre not comfortable with it.
