Do creatures such as gnomes and elves really exist?

    I've found this
    "I don't know about elves...but gnomes...kinda...

the thing i really beleive in are goblins, i live near the edge of the city so behind my house is a river and a forest. I've seen things in the woods that i cant really explain.

Well they're about 4 feet tall...well the best way to describe them is golem of the lord of the rings, but they're eyes aren't as big and they have brown skin that is shiny but it looks more scaly then wet.

I see them all around my side of town late at night. They are fast runners and can jump considerable distances."

This could be false or true but apart from that, what do you think about their possible presence?:)

Yes, they do, I have a gnome living in a little hole under my bed... Sometimes at night it comes out.

A Pagan friend of mine says that things like this exist because people believe in them, that is what gives them the power to exist.

I can't say that I have ever seen such a thing but I used to make fairy playgrounds in the garden as child, I strongly believed in fairies at the time. We used to put bits of biscuit out for them, when we went back later it would be gone, although there are other plausable explanations for that, like birds, or slugs.

Do you live in Bolivia? Have you heard of the Stumpmen (a name which is considered derogatory; Bolivian Jungle Midgets is prefered)? Theyre a group of natives plagued by a genetic defect common to the Waagahaxi tribe of southern Bolivia. They populate the jungles down there, but are growing sparce.

I do believe in fairies and the like, though. Ive never seen one, which sucks, but I do believe in them xD

I like them to exist. I also dig this theory:

Unfortunately it seems like no one believes in them anymore, because I never saw a trace of them. People see U.F.O.'s now :(

It all boils down to the same things really, I mean I see odd thing in the sky at night and you never get to find out what they are. Sometimes they are satellites but I've seen things that did'nt look or behave like any of those.

me too. once i've seen two lights in the sky at night and then one of those disappear quickly. but i didn't ask myself what could be cause i've heard lots of stories about ufos and stuff like that..but it's not wrong to belive in fairies and gnomes :) they make you feel still as a child!

if you can see them this means youre their next victim. dont stay too much in the woods and never , never go there when dark.
i know this cause i live in the woods.
listen to this recording i took with a crappy walkman at nighttime near the border of the wood and if you ever happen to hear such a chant... run like hell.
if you are familiar with it, i mean if you have heard it before and you've been lucky enough to survive, i'll tell you how actually they can harm you.

jagerhans, i've heard it and it's funny but, as i said, i'm not the person who has seen them but i've just find that story (which can be true or false) and it was just something to discuss :) even though i belive they could exist i've never see them! sorry..

People should believe in whatever they want to, as long as it's not hurting anyone. :)

    I question everything.
