Both movies are jokes, which makes them great.

Have you ever seen Wild at Heart?

It's another great movie in the genre.

Tarantino sold Natural Born as an immature work he was no longer intrested in directing. He became upset with Oliver Stone for it's butchering. The film has no sense of itself.

Tarantino is a artist film genius with an encyclopedic knowledge of film. Oliver Stones latest include World Trade Center and Alexander. I'm not even going into JFK.

Comparing the two is directors is absurd. Pulp Fiction was art, NBK was kinda entertaing fluff.

What really makes me mad is when the audience only laughs at the really stupid jokes, or stuff that isn't funny. Like in the Two Towers, people were laughing during the serious Gollum scene where he's arguing with himself, like they're so stupid they can't tell it's a "serious" scene and just laugh because he's a CGI creature. Fucking morons. >_>

Or when someone in the audience has a loud donkey laugh. That's just embarrassing. :leaving:

But you see, I'm not comparing directors. I'm comparing movies... and I fell in love with NBK.

All subtelty from natural natural born killers. It was a script about the nature of public obsession and glorification of murder. Stone twisted it into an indictment against media, and missed all the irony of the glorification of their escape.

The only reason a lot of the dialouge in NBK is intresting, is because freaking Tarantino wrote it. Much of the rest of the movie is taked on.

Back in college, we walked into a screening of Europa Europa very late into the film. There was some weird scene involving a hat on a train and I was the only person to laugh in a packed audience of at least 200 people. I guess it wasn't funny.

the last few times I've seen comedies in the theaters, everyone was laughing at different times
and me and my company were the only ones laughing majority of the time
    it's weird

i'm probably an idiot because of it, but i find most things even close to mainstream more then a little boring.

then i tend to think most humans are idiots, not that i'm an exception, just that they/we are.

yeah, like my cogliostro said, it was like we were in the twighlight zone or something, it was looking around, and wondering if theyre real people!! i only laugh out loud if somethng is really fucking funny, i mean, cogliostro actually had to cover his mouth and duck down, to keep the laughter in as much as he could, and i would too. we didnt want to be the "annoying people at the movies" but damn, laughing is ok. I hate sitting in front of someone who gets scared easily and were watching a horror film, they ALWAYS kick my chair! i HATE that! and it seems to always happen! i literally got kicked OUT of my chair forward because the girl behind me couldnt handle Scream (the first one). comeon! if your THAT freaked out, DONT go! Sheesh.
