Purifying Extractions into Crystals

How would one go about purifying a substance such as LSA into crystal/pure form. I was thinking an acetone wash but im unsure. The process would be as follows?

HB Woodrose ------*1--------> LSA "Gum" -------*2----> LSA Crystals?



*1 Naphtha Extraction

*2 Acetone Wash(s)

 

I wouldn't suggest extracting LSA into powder/crystals. LSA isn't supposed to be particularly psychoactive on it's own. It's all the elements in the seeds working together.

But yeah, it's possible. I'm not sure if LSA forms into crystals in any case.

I've never looked into forming powders into crystals, but if you look at some other drug syntheses, and get a good understanding of the Lysergic Acid molecule, I'm sure you can some up with your own way of doing it that works.
