ok, so i'm picking up a little eyedropper sized bottle of acid tomorrow. I am wondering what would be the best way to store. I live in a house with my mum and sister, so unless i buy something that neither my mum nor sister like to eat and put the bottle inside so that it cnt be seen without looking faairly hard, how else could i store it. Is it absolutely neccisary to keep it in the freezer? i live in england so it is fairly cold here, would it be cold enough to be able to store it outside in my garden somewhere? I dont want to have bought a bottle and then try and do some a week later to find it has degraded lots. any input wuld be great. Jack
No. Liquid acid doesn't degrade anywhere near as much as other mediums. I'd just keep it in a drawer personally, but keeping it in the garden would be absolutely fine - perhaps bury it in the earth beneath a bush to keep it completely cool and out of sunlight (not to mention well hidden).
cool, i will probably just keep it in my bedside draw and hope my mum doesnt try and use the "eyedrops"!
If you're in teh UK you can buy one of those mini fridges for your room for about £30. Or if its near a birthday say a friend bought it for you. or... yeah just keep it in a cool dark place.
haha no offense, but burying acid in your garden is sketch. I would put it in the back of my sock drawer and make sure no light can get to it.
