How big is E in England?

i'm from upstate, new york (usa) where it's not very easy to come by ecstasy. and when it is available, it is usually very expensive - about 20 USD per pill. how popular is E in the U.K.? from what i've read, it seems much more prevalent and much less expensive. do any of your friends use it?

 

I know quite a lot of people who use it, it's definitely one of the most common party drugs here. For the equivalent of $20 (about £10) you could expect to find at least three pills, often four in places where they're more common. At festivals and raves they're all over the place and as easy to find as shouting "anyone got any pills?" At some clubs on the right kind of nights you'll find plenty of dealers too....

 

I take pills regularly. It's usually about 5-6 for £10, although I've found a taste for pure MDMA crystals, which are £35 or £50 (usually) for a gram, but that's in Wales.

 

how long does it last? because there were a couple of times where i would take it on friday night, be blissful all saturday, wake up on sunday and still feel pretty damned good. mind you, i have a fairly drug-virginal body.

 

If I've been on it consistently I get that, but otherwise I'm totally fucked the day after and it just drains me. They usually last me the night though.

 

MDMA can keep you going for a while, still, some of the light brownish crystals, stuff that's been boiled down wrong, can make you pretty mash-up the next day.

 

i liked it because i felt no pain once it wore off. it just kinda gently lifted away.

down in london we get off our heads on ecstasy for about £3 a throw ($6)
and that is ecstasy not some fuckin amphetamines and coke
thats premium stuff - for the ordinary pills I reckon £2.50 ($5)
