Recently when ive tried to meditate, it seems like my mind quickly starts to think of what happened at school, at work, etc. it seems like before school started, i could actually focus on my breathing much easier than now.

But anyway, my question is, is there certain things you can do (or not do) in everyday life that can improve your meditation? like for example, i would think that not watching tv or playing videogames could help to make the meditation process easier.

You don't have to give up these things unless they really are hindering you. Just keep practicing, there really is no sure way to increase your focus other then simple practice. Although, exercising might help.

Yea ive had the same exact problem and last night i tried something that makes it easier to clear your mind and it worked. You try to imagine that your'e watching all your own thoughts from the outside so your'e more aware of them all and then can let them drift away. Hope this helps.
