Hi everyone, First post here. Well I will tell you a little about my relationship. I have been going out with my Girlfriend for 4 1/2 years but 1 year ago she began a job flying for an airline as an air hostee. So what's the problem I hear you say? Well I guess I'm having a hard time with my confidence. Before she took the job we had equal wages and I felt confident and felt as though we were stable. We had the same friends and saw each other every day. Now she earns nearly double what I get, is always away, has ten times the amount of friends that I do and well.. she looks HOT in her uniform. I now see her about once or twice a week. I know it must be my self-esteem that is getting me down. I used to feel like the 'catch' but now its real hard when she's socialising with pilots and has all the money in the world to shop and has just bought a BMW! It's just hard for me as I feel a little inadequate. I am happy for her and know that change is good but I just feel sometimes that my life is dragging behind. Now she is talking about applying for an international division of her airline so she might be gone for 12 months. Please don't get me wrong. We have great trust and are in love but i would just like to know from others how I might handle this a bit better. Sometimes I get so insecure and it shows. I used to feel so confident around her and now somedays I look at her and think 'what can I do to keep her'? Any suggestions?
if she really love you then you have nothing to worry about .... do things you did all the time before she got job...... don't change anything.....it is self-esteem thing deal with it
