I have been looking to see a psychologist for some time now, and I have told my mom I think it would be a good idea, but shes been very busy with work and her school so she hardly has time for her self any more.

So what would I have to do?
    Get a referal?
Find someone local and make an appointment?

    Thanks for any help.

As a Canadian, I think you would be able to just walk right into a clinic. Even at 16.

But you should tell your mom beforehand, and maybe get her to attend some sessions with you. The fact that she has no time for you might be one of your problems.

If so, you need to make her aware of this fact.

a referal or local appointment your mom would need to sign the paperwork...... but you could make it easier on her get your appointment set up have her go in sign paperwork then she can leave catch a bus or a cab back home if that is possible......just notice you live in canada it might be different up there so maybe you could take care of it by yourself
