I'm a first time grower that recently started using foxfarm products. How often should I be giving my plants these fertilzers? Right now I'm using Tiger Bloom Liquid Plant Food and Big Bloom. I tried to use both as a foliar fertilizer. The plants responded well to the big bloom but the tiger bloom seems to be to strong for a foliar fertilizer. After I sparyed the Tiger bloom some of the leafs on my main colas turned brown...
Are they indoors or outdoors? You have to be careful with fox farm, it is some pretty potent stuff. You can foliar feed, but its much better to mix it with the water and just water them with a dilute solution. (like 1/4-1/2 recommended strength). Only time i ever spray my plants is when im dealing with pest problems....occasionally ill spray em' with just plain pH adjusted water. Stick to just mixing it with water and watering them. Only give nutrients if you plant needs them i.e., if its healthy, green, and growing just fine....don't give it any nutrients. If you are having deficiencies then give them some nutes. Your plants wont lie, when they need something, they let you know.
I wish someone told me that when I first started. The #1 killer of plants is too much love from growers.
wish someone would have told me that too!! Didn't figure too much attention would hurt them. I guess they are a weed after all and they tend to do just fine with the bare essentials.
