Hmm good guess but from what I see on Google for 'Tiger Lily' there is some very very noticeable differences. I wouldnt say that compares the slightest bit. No spots and them things dont potrude out as much. Also the leaves arent as curled out and this has more of the 'trumpet shape'
Yeah that aint no datura, i actually know exactly where a good datura plant is right now but i really doubt i will ever touch it because im not a retard
I'm sure that isn't any type of Datura (or Brugmansia) and I'm familiar with many of them. The flowers are shaped wrong and have a different texture. I think what you found is Campsis Radicans or Bignonia Capriolata, which both have trumpet shaped flowers but is not related to Datura or Brugmansia.
doesn't look like datura althought it looks somewhat similair to a type of brugmansia but not really. If you really feel the need to use datura be careful. Have a few days with nothing planned to do, A sobre friend with you, and work your way up from very small amounts and dont get anxious to redose as it is known to sneak up on you. The main reason datura is so dangerous is because theres no easy way for anyone to tell how potent the plant is.
What are you trying to imply? I don't see what's retarded about it if you do it responsibly, and smoking small portions is WAY less problematic then ingesting it. But anyway, I signed up to some professional gardening website and they almost told me immediately that this wasn't Datura. But since it was night time I road my bike back to the house where it was detura was definitely @ ... and the practically tore their bush apart (took a shit load) then bagged it and road off. So yup, have no fucking clue when I should try this but I'm going to need a friend and an empty weekend just incase. Smoking it though, not eating. Thanks guys above, the garden website said the same (almost): Hoping this is all true:
Looking foward to hearing about this datura experience and make sure you smoke some imaginary cigs while talking to your invisible girlfriend. That should be fun, the pills didn't do it for me but since you have the real stuff make sure you trip and don't be the kid that ends up writing an erowid blog/rant about it, share the story here, IN THIS THREAD Haha, anyway looking foward to hearing what you have to say about your trip!
Yeah sorry i wasn't trying to imply that you are a retard i'm sorry if it sounded like that. But in my opinion to take this plant you either have to be a retard, or if you are in fact an experienced psyconaut. If somebody has fully researched it and knows exactly what they are doing, mainly knowing what they are risking (their life) Than i would say that it is more of bravery than it is retard.
I was interested in trying to smoke some a while back, I've heard mixed reports on it though. Never got around to it. I just don't find datura (or deleriants in general) that appealing. They aren't exactly fun and nobody seems to learn anything from them, other than not to do them again.
the plant in the pics was a trumpet vine or trumpet creeper. Gives some people contact dermititis like poison ivy.
Damn I feel like a little test subject mouse. Im only smoking a light portion to see if the buzz is anything worth repeating. I'm quite nervous, but I'm also not ingesting it, I will have a friend with me, and I will make sure he makes sure i don't go near any objects that could be risky, lol. The only thing that could go wrong as far as I read is eating too much to fully trip out on the shit, which I am in no way wanting to do.
i assume you mean angel trumpet?? at least judging from the flower you showed.. the plant is unmistakable,,if youve seen it once.. an your a fool if you fuck with the shit..
Thanks for the insight, if you read any of the other post you'd notice if i got the real thing isn't the question anymore. I'm also smoking it, not ingesting it.
No I ment trumpet creeper or trumpet vine (Campsis radicans). Grows all over eastern north america. Trust me, you can google it, get a picture. I am kind of a plant guy...a damned good plant guy for native species in the eastern U.S. I have been working with plants for about three times longer than most of those who post on this web site have been alive.
alright, i've already found real datura since this topic and if u looked a few topics down ud see that it even has its own topic. I have long since discarded those old flowers.
