Hi everyone, Can someone help interpret this dream I just had? I got a job in a mechanical workshop - although I dont really know much about fixing cars - yet this mechanical workshop had just started getting into a new line of business where they would start reviving people out of dead corpses. I had one or two other work colleagues. Basically the people were sort of deflated-looking wrinkled corpses and we would mechanically pump them up full of new blood and then start their hearts to help bring them back. We brought back about 2 or 3 women - most of them were suicide cases. I got one to do myself but it was very upsetting to me because she was someone I knew (not in real life but in the dream context) and she was a very beautiful girl around 25 who had been a singer/free spirit kind of personality. I had difficulties working on this one partly because she tore in half (two pieces) when I first tried to move her. My boss actually wanted her revived because she was good looking and i confirmed to him that she was because (said she had amazing blue eyes) i wanted her revived. He said this one was going to cost a lot of money but let's do it. Anyway, because i was new to the job I kind of left her where she was for a while and started working on some other things. When i mustered up the emotions to get back to working on her she was already back alive as some of colleagues fixed her up & brought her back. My Boss was really understanding. He pulled out a sheet of paper that was in her clothes. It was a to-do list on the day of her suicide. One of the last things was for a kind of razor wire and apparently she had that tied strongly around her waist which explained why I had problems moving her and attaching her skin again. Anyway it didnt matter as she walked into the room up right and was smiling. Her brain seemed about 50% there, she had good posture and looked mostly good but her blue eyes weren't quite the same. Another one we had revived earlier had been dead for quite a long time and her eyes were like a dark grey. Just for the record I am male and I do not work in medicine nor have i spent much time in a hospital and my mechanical knowledge is very limited. So yeah guess the main part of the dream was bringing people back to life and by pumping them full of new fresh blood. I know how to interpret some dreams but um yeah this was one is pretty out there. PS some details: The mechanical workshop had only recently gotten into this line of business and i was hired apparently because the boss thought I had a wide ranging amount of jobs on my cv so he thought i could adapt to this one with the help of my colleagues. With the woman i 'knew' she was white around 25 and was into changing her hairs different colours and wearing alternative-funky kind of clothes. All of the corpses had no obvious signs of what caused their deaths - but it was something no one knew - they were just around in the workshop brought in by someone i guess. The woman i 'knew' was actually lying under a bench in a different white tiled room and i had to drag her out of that room and put her on a bench in the main workshop. I was upset once i looked at her properly when the boss left the room and i realised i knew her- really upset like i was crying - then when i started dragging her thats when she kind of tore in half and that was a bit unexpected. I was not sure how i could reattach the two parts of her - i actually left her in two pieces in the room when i went to the workshop and started working on some other things, there wasnt a great sense of urgency to getting jobs done - it's like we had about 9 or ten hours or so to give it a go and once she was reattached all you had to do was pump her back full of blood which took about ten minutes or so and then start her heart with an electronic kind of tool and that would take maybe another minute or two.
wow.. trippy dream. are you a creative type person? or is there something you want to do that you are not doing, that leans towards being creative?
Yeah I am pretty creative - I've got a website up ( 2 weeks old now) that I would like to turn into a profit making venture and I have worked in journalism and video editing before. Just looked at my dream post and I have noticed it's missing words in various sentences so I am a bit disappointed but I did write it pretty much right after I woke up. I think I haven't been spending as much time as I would like to on the website, i need to write some more articles to help it get a decent page rank. Do you think the dream means I am neglecting my creative side? Thanks for the response by the way. I looked up resurrection in various dream websites but I couldn't find anything specific to reviving other people. Nothing of major significance has occurred in the last few days either. Although, I am trying to warn people I know about their stocks because I have gotten a bit freaked out by the internet reports/stories/articles of mystery traders placing option trades of like $700 million on various indexes (think eurostox 50) going down by a third this month (think they expire in the last week of this month). They're called Bin Laden trades - I am expecting something pretty big to shake up the markets soon but I might be wrong.
