for my brother jeremy.... he turns 30 this sunday..... he was shocked to see his family, friends and coworkers there.... which got me thinkin that I never had a surprise bday party thrown for me, ever...... and birthday parties?? not since I was 13 and I definitely didnt get one when I was 30...... probably wont when I turn 33 in 2 weeks either.... my parents will call, thats for sure, and send me a card..... but other than that.....
I've never had a surprise birthday party either, and I can't actually think of anyone off the top of my head who I know has had one. I think they're overrepresented in movies and t.v.
are you the type of person to catch onto surprises or anything? i know i am...i'm pretty sure i'd figure it out before i get to the party
well, its not the whole surprise bday party thing Im really talking about...... its just throwing a party just for me. you know? I guess I sound selfish
I'm 33 in about ten days time madcrappie and if it makes you feel any worse, I have had a surprise party thrown for me every year I can remember.
Hey, you can always invite yourself to a pity party. I do it all the time...It's not fun though, so just scratch that. Hope it gets better for ya.
ive never had a suprise party thrown for me, ive organized all of my own bday parties since i was like 11 or 12 (aside from my mother purchasing the required objects that is to say)
I had two surprize birthday parties... one I knew about before hand and one I was totally surprized and loved it cause it was a pool party and great food and just my close friends (about 8 people plus relatives and siblings)..... it was real chill and fun and perfect weather... the other sucked. i was 15 and 17.
that's a freaking crying shame, ry. if it makes you feel better, i've been baking my own birthday cakes since i was 10. i've only ever had one birthday party, and my parents never once went to an open house or school performance i'd had. such is the life of the easy child.
My friends tried to throw a surprise birthday party for me when I was 15, but my mom let it slip when she was trying to get me to change clothes and get in the car. Not that it wasn't obvious anyway. My friend wanted me to come and "hang out" at the mini-golf course his family owned a few blocks from my house at like 8 o'clock in mid-November. No one plays mini-golf in mid-November, they let him open it especially for us, and it was on my birthday. It was still great anyway, lol. My best birthday party, though, wasn't a surprise, but people lit themselves on fire about 17 billion times. If you've ever had a birthday where flaming people are running around, screaming, you don't need a surprise party.
They set so many things on fire that night. And the guy whose house we were using was chasing after everyone with cups of water. It was the best party ever.
i went to a skaters & punks new year's eve party outside durango one year. there was thie kid holding fireworks on his head while other people lit them. he caught fire a couple times, and i'm sure his ears will never work the same. then we to watch a popular local punk band and i got groped heavily by the lead singer. which was amusing.
