I can't seem to recover from my depression. I just keep cutting and smoking weed. Boo. I'm supposed to be better. My family can't afford another 10 days in the hospital....
well if it depression only you need on medication to help.... instead of smokein weed..... the depression is bad enough by itself now you have or will have another problem a habit.....getting buzzzzzzz up ain't no cure for depression it may help why you are high but when you crash you really crash
I agree with Hitman.... the cutting and weed are just masking your feelings or are temporary reliefs. (I, myself, sleep and have panic attacks and I feel the depression physically. I used to drink when I was depressed, but realized I had to stop that.) You need to talk to someone, your Dr. or therapist, about meds that might help. I've been on a couple, and they're not too bad. You can switch around and play with dosages until you find what's right for you. They can make a real huge difference in your life. You need help. Most states have facilities that will go by your income or your parent's income to charge for mental health services if you don't have insurance. Some won't even charge at all because they get funding from the state to handle under-income cases. They can't deny you help. All you will have to so is fit the bill for the meds if you can't get office samples. Look into it.
you dont need more drugs to solve your problem. all you need is more love. and just stop thinking. this works easily for me since i can turn my brain off and on whenever i want to. and think about things that make me happy. or will make me happy.
Try painting or something artistic like that, its really meditative and relaxing and therapeutic... helps you sort out your feelings and thoughts. Hope it helps or something else does
Some good advice given here. Yeah smoking isn't gonna help you right now... consider medication if you're not on one- Also what has helped me a lot (when I could get to the point to do this)- was eating really healthy and excercise.... get outside and take a walk, hike or run.... do things differently.... if you can get your body feeling really good, the mind goes with it.
Thanks guys :] I'm on meds now and I finally told my therapist about what I've been doing.. so I'm working on it One day at a time, I s'pose
