Yes, brilliant stories and quite an intriguing author.

I've just bought Trainspotting, so that's on my to read list. Anyone read it? Is it worth the read?

Trainspotting is probably the most intense book I've ever read. Irvine Welsh is the man.

I read all of his books, except his newest one. They are all worth reading! Anyone hear about the play he just wrote? It's about the life of the little people from "The Wizard of Oz." Apparently they are drug dealers/prostitutes...lol I heard it showed on the west coast recently and it will be in NYC in 2008. I met Irvine Welsh at the center city library in Philly and he told us about his new play...he is certainly an interesting man!!!

Yea but I heard it's awful and not in a good-irvine-welsh-way unfortunately. Then again you can't expect much from a guy who hardly even wanted to be a writer in the first place.
