Just wanted to share! Today I went to visit a hippie couple here in good old Latvia(not many of them around). There was this whole free market/shop/trading post thing going on, lots of people came and we had this grat big thing going on. I got three books, pants in the color that the Krishnas wear, a jacket, and a scarf. Really great stuff. There was a great atmosphere, greater people, and if not great weed then lots of it. I also became aquainted with the local pyschedelic/schizo band singer, and he told me all sorts of cool stories - about how he went to the countryside to trip on LSD once and some hicks took away a piece of his blotter paper with LSD on it, and then in 3 hours were begging him to forgive them, because God became angry with them, etc. etc., and how he goes around where there have been pastures and looks for mushrooms, and.... phhew. It was just great. A shame that I had to leave, though, because there was a lot of other stuff going on that I didn't want to miss, but if I had left any later I would have missed my last transport back home(which is 40 minutes away by train).
Sounds awsome! Its good to have those hippiecouples nearby. I went to "my" hippiecouple yesterday and sat up for hours talkin ´bout love and happiness. That made my week! peace
Wahey, nice! Wish there were more hippies near me (well, in my northern home anyway, plenty in Cambridge).
