It's not all about the oil. It's about establishing connections as well. No one fucking starts a war strictly to establish democracy in a foreign nation, because that'd be fucking retarded. Wars are only started if the person or people starting the war think that they'll come out of it with some sort of loot. Today there was a large conference held allowing the House to ask the top General, Petraeus a variety of questions about the "war". It was fucking amazing. All he did was bullshit his way through questions. He didn't actually answer one single question posed by anyone in the house! But after all, thats what politicians are trained to do, just bullshit their way through all the important questions without actually answering anything. Tomorrow is the same deal except with the senate. Maybe someone will actually nail that lying fuck, but again thats unlikely because no one really wants a hit put out for them.

It was very bad. the didn't even bother to try to plow the sde streets because there was no time to do it. they had to wait until they could bring in heavy machinery. anyway, sorry bout the rant, just seems like the government should stand up against something, declare a war on something that is a lot more important to win. In case you all don't know the Canadian Government sucks too. They try hard to keep us under their thumbs but sometimes some of us wiggle out and say - put em up - them we fight for changes. We usually get beat back down but that's the way it has been for 100s of years. Cheers!
