I know it's the apap in hydro that causes the problems, I'm wondering does it cause more liver damage than kidney damage? Anyone have any over the counter health vitmins for both to repair or detox?

There are some herbs that promote healthy liver function, specifically Burdock, Dandelion, or Rosemary, which help stimulate and cleanse the liver, and Cardamom and Raspberry Leaf which help increase the metabolic rate in the liver. While I have taken this information from naturopathic and homeopathic sources, there have been some valid medical studies that verify these herbal products usefulness in liver function.

But honestly, just keep your APAP consumption under 2g a day. Thats the only real way to be certain you won't do short term or long term damage to the liver.

For liver- I suggest dandelion (mentioned) and MILK THISTLE...... (not mentioned)- and yes, there is real data that supports the benefits of the use of both of these herbs. :)

Ahh... Milk Thistle...good call. Got hired as a freelance writer by a website doing herbal supplements to write a bunch of articles promoting herbal remedies, but I somehow missed Milk Thistle in my research. Checked it out after your post, and it seems legit.
