For those that are stupid or have just bought into the marketing:

Iraq had nothing to do with 09/11/2001, nor was Al Qaeda in Iraq until we totally bombed their country into a situation where they could no longer protect themselves. Democracy...phoney ideal and excuse for what we did to Iraq and the Middle East. We are responsible for what happened in Lebanon and India democratic countries also, we should be ashamed. How much did you worry about the bombings of the train in Mumbai? Yet we protect Pakistan, ever wonder why?

It's time to end this crap before we try to do to Iran and Syria what we have done to Iraq.

    WAKE UP!

try indeed. No one is going to beat Iran. A population 70% in their early twenties and devoted to their cause. Maybe it'd be a good idea for America to try it on with them. So when the USA falls - the rest of the world can get on with their business without the bully around.

Trade oil in Euros - goodbye america!!

no.. that's kinda nasty - seriously, I hope you guys don't learn the hard way. Every country goes through the genocidal empire business when their growing up. I hope you can learn from other, older countries that this only creates enemies.

I wish the same, but I have no control over the government... i honestly think we're just the acting hand for some of those 'older' nations....

i'm also pissed that they've started calling today "patriot day" on the calendars...what a farce

Haliburton, have your neighbors heard of them? How about Blackwater? Don't you wish you had stock?

I think we should stop talking about 9/11 everytime september eleventh rolls around. put it all behind us, not THAT many people died in the crash, more died in the supposed "war". I don't more than 3,00 have died in a single action, whats so special about this specific one? no one has these kinda things for the hurricanes and floods that have happened. some guy in my art class is a 9/11 survivor, hes perfectly fine, hes not huddled up in the corner, completely traumatized. the first 2 years ill get, but to continue? thats just ridiculous, the little kids who started going to school recently don't even know what they are honoring every time 9/11 comes along.

It is not the actual action in itself that is important, it is remembering it and WHY it happened that is important to do every september. The same way that many in the UK here remember November the 11th - the end of world war. It is remembered so that we don't repeat it.

We should always talk about Sept 11th and debate why. This is far better than becoming ritualised into some service of one minute silence - or wearing some special rememberance symbol - these things actually detach us from the true reality and cover the real reasons for the terrible events that happened.

You can see it already over here, people wear red poppies on Nov 11th and don't spare a single thought as to how it came about that mankind went into all out slaughter mode.

I used to work for Halliburton back in the late 70's. Oilfield technologies.

It was a huge company then, run by all white males. A good ol boys club. The Bush family had a lot of friends there.
