I am an independent scientist and I research the affects that gravity has on plants by growing them upside down. this is a one of a kind project and it needs to be seen to be believed. This project has alot of potential possibilities. Check it out. Let me know what you think. I'm inclueding a link to the website for more info.

So we can grow weed upside down then, not that I grow it, just curious.

I have not experimented with weed, pot or marijuana. The plant is illegal in the U S. I could tell you that, after experimenting with many different types of plant species, geotropisim or gravitotropisim will make any plant almost impossible to grow not only upside down, but also sideways. I could also point out that the chemical composition of plants change when grown upside down. This would mean that, if weed is also grown upside down, the THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) could either become stronger or weaker. I wish that the plant wasn't illegal because I could then experiment with it to find out. It is a shame that my hands are tied from researching this popular plant.

The importance of my work is mainly to discover which plants have the best chance to thrive in another environment outside of this planet. Like outer space or the gravity energy of another planet. Plant growth outside of this planet is going to be vidal and not just for food but, primarilly, for the production of oxygen.

If people are thinking that plants are going to grow on the moon or outer space, for example, just as they do here on earth, they are mistaken. The plants of earth are very much accustomed to the special gravity of this planet and if plants are removed from this environment, there could be some serious problems. My research could not only determind wich plants might be ideal to grow in those environments, but it could also manipulate the genertic structure of plants so they could grow within those environments. The genetic structure of plants could be changed by the use of a new gravity manipulation technology that I developed.

It would be intresting to see what actually happens when you grow weed upside down, I may try it someday. I will tell you the results.

Most plants don't care if their roots are above their crown or not as long as the foliage has access to light, and the roots have access to nutrients and moisture. Did you actually find someone to fund this experiment?

The Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art has had 3 trees growing upside down outside for years, they are still alive and doing well. On top of that "some people" use horizontal grow setups to grow reefer, too maximize light usage.

Is the problem with growing in 0 gravity to do only with a seed knowing which way to send the sprout?
