So, I've had my dreads for about 2 weeks now. They were backcombed, with no wax. There are no rubberbands at the roots, but some of them have bands at the tips.
I'm using Doc Bronners Tea Tree.

They're really fuzzy, but I think that will pass, right?

Think they'll be ok? I plan on using crochet hooks eventually, but I'd like them to tighten more first.

nice dreads mate, especially for such a short time! You'll have to get used to the frizzies though, dreads and frizzy hair go hand in hand.

Why thank you, Wanderin_Blues. I was considering trying to let it all dread up naturally, but patience is not one of my virtues. I think I that I would like to eventually.
I had a vertical snakebite for a while, but had to take them out.

I have a few more pics here, taken about a week after those ones. They're getting a bit fuzzier, but no big deal.
