    Before we can even consider that I think we need to deal with Cheney. Sorry but I don't want a president Cheney thank you.

    I too think it makes more sense to go after cheney first, but then any start is a good one. after all, how much power would that asshat have after his figurehead is gone??

    According to Article II, Section 4 of the US Constitution...

    "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

    So we can clean house all at once!!

    upon removal from office the new president is chosen by the congress . it's not at all the same as in case of death or illness . cheney would not necessarily advance to the presidency should bush be impeached and then hung from the neck in some dimlit , undisclosed location .
