    I saw Vertigo on here and I had to post this movie... It's the best Combination! Sean Connery AND Alfred Hitcock! I love this movie...... Well doesn't everybody! Well I love this movie... any other fans of it here? (I'm not gonna include the plot)

    Bit late on this - but watched it last night. Top film, much, much better than it's reputed to be.:) Prefer it to Vertigo which has many similarities.

    I too am a huge fan of Marnie. It is Hitchcock's most underappreciated film (as the birds is the most overrated, IMO) though its reputation seems to be going up a bit as people analyze such things as the use of color and camera angles.

    I think he, Hitchcock is due another review of his work. Some of his films are bogged down by Hitch's own comments (that Traffaut book) which are used to dismiss some of his films quite undeservedly. This is one of the reasons it took me to getting round to see Marnie, and why I'm yet to see Topaz and Torn Curtain.
    Have saw The Trouble with Harry and Young and Innocent recently and the former was far better than I could've believed. Rope I always thought a great experiment and a fascinating film also.:)
