Well, Im back from The Dam, and I can safely say that I had the gratest week of my life.
While we were there we had no worries, not a care in the world. Just enjoyed life and laughed like hell.
The brakeing point was when Danny (one of the lads) walked out of LOST (in Amsterdam) into a place were you can buy pre-rolled joints, bought one, walked back across the street with brilliant sunshine beating down on him, in a packed street while he had a joint hanging out his mouth, back into LOST. And smoked it with his mates. Now were back in England we need to sneak off into a side street somewere if we want to smoke.
You know what was really shit? As soon as we got off the plane in Manchester and walked into the airport we saw sings everywere saying "WELCOME TO A SMOKE-FREE ENGLAND". It should have just said "ALRIGHT BOYS, FUNS OVER, GO BACK TO YOUR CRAP LIFE NOW".

Heres a few pics of our week:

Nice photos. I can't wait to get back to The Netherlands. Where are the photos with the printed couch from? What is the name of the place?

"LOST In Amsterdam - Lounge Cafe"
    It's along the main street.
Past "The Flying Pig Hostel", and towards the junction with "The Doors" cafe on the other side. Its on your right near another coffee shop called "Wonder Bar".
BTW If your thinking of going in December, from December 26th - January 2nd its open 24 hours.
    Have fun!

    Thanks!

looks like a great place to hang out.

I'll be there in late November. Maybe at the New Year.
I was there last year and spent a lot of time @ Hunter's CS which was also open 24h

this city is awesome, ive been to a few places around the world but nothing compares to amsterdam.Im back home now and i really wish i was still there i am missing it allready. The first thing i noticed is how chilled out the place is and like you said dude theres not a care in the world everybody is so cool, even the lovely ladies in the windows ;-).Me and my mates were there only for the day because we got the dfds ship over from england and we only had like 6 hours and they are probably the best 6 hours of my life.I allready have plans to go back next year but this time its going to be for a whole weekend :).

    Do it mate!
The first time we went was for like 4 days, then this year we stayed for a full 6 days. But next year we are planning a 10 day trip.
I know, I know, when we get back next year were gonna be like "Dude, next time were going for a month". And the cycle will continue untill we actually move to Amsterdam for good...can't wait HA HA
