What strains do you like best?

I was wondering what type of bud you guys like. I prefer a hybrid with strong indica properties. How about yourselves?

it definitely depends on my mood and plans for the day. good indicas are wonderful, good sativas are fucking mindblowing, and a mix can be great, too. most of the time i'd prefer the effects of predominantly sativa pot though. i like the more energetic high a lot...like "ok, i'm super stoned....now i wanna go outside and play"

but sometimes i like the shit to be really mellow and nearly narcotic....

it just depends. i can't choose only one!

 

I never even know what im smoking, i just buy some weed. But i prefer somthing that dosent make me a lazy bum, whichever one that is.

I like the more mental feeling when you can just sit and trip out.

I dont like the one that makes me sleepy and makes me munch out too much.

I like sativa too, but very hard to find in florida as its alot of mexican stuff coming through, tons of indica.. I can't stand it.

 

actually from what i understand most mexican pot is sativa, its just really low quality sativa and often lacks that high-quality "sparkle" that a GOOD sativa evokes.

 

i've heard of a low tolerance...but damn...if you see fractals when you smoke then somethings wrong!

i agree, in terms of most "mexican" weed i get. its more a matter of mishandling and improper storage conditions in the long term - a lot of quality is lost, as i understand. its not that mexican weed is particularly bad, its that large-scale commercial marijuana operations often produce mediocre weed, and when you consider age and storage and smuggling, its no wonder the shit that makes it here from mexico is lousy.


lousy weed is all lousy and has a lot of downsides compared to high quality weed, regardless of whether its sativa, indica, or a hybrid.

 

on the other hand, most of the decent middies i've ever gotten have had a somewhat energizing and sativa-like high. still not very high quality, but a lot more smokable and overall decent quality. most of what i've read about mexican strains deals with sativas, and i've never heard of a mexican indica strain. doesnt mean they dont exist, but its true that better sativas often have some genetic origins in the tropics, closer to the equator. too far north or too far south and the days aren't long enough and warm enough for long enough for good sativas to flourish. it makes sense for countries closer to the equator to grow more sativas
