I'm looking for pictures and other information about the Red Dog Saloon. Does anyone know, where i can find information? Has anyone in those forums been there?
the red dog saloon is in virigina city nevada and that is where the san francisco music sceen started with the charlatans,,dan hicks,,etc,,,,,its still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tramp-Inever did get to see that place but been through there alot-Is the band still together. I thought Skip said they played at the last summer of love festival this year.-I know Mobey Grape did but I can't remember if the Charlatons were there. Do they or anyone in the group own that place? And one more question-I got married years ago in Lake Tahoe and we stayed at the Embassy Suites there. My bride was sick and they say it's something called the Mile high sickness or something like that-The water there takes getting used to. Now is this true or was this just a sign of what was to come?-Years of misery! lol anyway'now divorced-whats in the water there?

hey robspace how ya doin? what i understand is the charlatons played therlast show this year at the SOL in san francisco,iknow that mark unoboski and don works started the red dog saloon,but i don't know if they actually owned the building,which is still there and is getting remodeled right now but i don't know what it's going to be,about tahoe i live on the north shore and don't get to south shore to often so i reallly don't know whats happening with the water down there.were at 6280 ft on the north shore and sometimes people can't handle the thin air but you get used to it in a couple days
