your dreads are bound to loosen up before they mature :) just don't worry about it...

heres a question...how long do you let the bronners soak in your dreads before rinsing out? would it be beneficial to actually not rinse the bronners out for a long time? like 20 or 30 min?

i usually scrub for a minute or two and then rinse, do the rest of my shower and rinse again before i get out... honestly i don't think it would be beneficial to leave it in for that long but i don't think it would hurt.

i think i know what you mean by loosening up. like your rubbing the dread apart, not together? try dampening your hands. sea salt water is best :)

yar i just found out lately that i have been doing it wrong for months now...well not always but most of the time (i pretty much do it automatically now not depending on where i am)..never knew i could screw up palmrolling, it's really important to apply decent pressure to keep the dread from letting out some more frizzes.

i don't really palmroll at all, i just kind of mess around with them sometimes when i'm bored. one side of my head is pretty flat, but i've heard that as they mature, they'll round up, so i'm just being patient and letting my head do its thing. :)
