Me and my ex broke up about a year ago, we decided to still be friends because we get along good. hes been there for me, ive been there for him, and we still liked each other sexually, but when other people just do their stuff and leave, he still wraps his arms around, holds my hand, and still tells me romantic things like he did when we were going out, ....now im confused, arnt ex's suspose to have sex (if they want to) then say bye? I started to regain these feelings for this dude and thats a no-no, i told him months before that i loved him and i always will, then he asked why...and i told him. months later, we're still having sex and hes doing the same stuff, i love it dont get me wrong, i still dont know if hes having feelings for me and hiding it or what, i cant stop seeing him, because we're like buddies, whats your opinion?
My opinion is that your relationship didn't end. If you want him to be an ex then you cannot say the I love You's and continue having sex. Maybe you should have an honest talk about the status of your relationship with him.
Sounds to me like he has found a way to keep having sex with you without having to commit to you. He says nice things to get you in bed and avoids the commitments that come from being "tied down" at the expense of your feelings.
haha well thats what i was thinking, i was about to stop when i thought to myself that everytime we want to have sex....I would want it from him...so hes not asking for it, well sometimes but 99% its me. so i know hes niot using me for that. I wanna talk to him but right now we're not talking lol. we're just coolin off for a bit, and then maybe ill talk to him
Just because he doesn't ask for it does not mean he doesn't know how to play off your emotions to get it. If he cared about you in the way I think you want him to then he would be back together with you. My advice would be to stop having sex if you are just friends or tell him you want to get back together.
Youve been helping me out alot Haid, thanks lol well we started talking today, i told him we shuoldnt do stuff anymore because im getting feelings for him and he said that i shouldve told him that so we wouldnt do it anymore. later that day we talked some more and he said hes trying to be distant from me because he still DOES have feelings for me but dont want to take the chance until im 18. it makes sense how he really didnt want to be in public and places...he was so worried that people would question so he kept me inside. i nver thought of it that way. it made my day when he said that though...i was smiling and talking to everyone again. its so strange
and he pulls you in again. Not commiting but giving you just enough to make yourself believe its something its not. I would say just knock the sex off, if he has feelings for you he will be around regardless, trust me there. If there is no strong emotional relationship(this includes not hiding you) then just be friends until one develops. I could have guessed from your first post that this was an older guy.
