What do you think of him? What are your favorite songs of his? There is pop music and on the very far end, opposite side of the spectrum is Daniel Johnston with a guitar, piano, a 4-track and an amazing voice.

Dan is a cool dude, but I can't really say I like his music. His earliest lo-fi stuff is pretty charming some times though. And I enjoyed watching the documentary about him, "The Devil And Daniel Johnston" ... he's interesting and unique.

Wow no love for DJ. I just started listening to him and I've heard three albums so far, Song's Of Pain, Don't Be Scared and of course Hi, How Are You. He's already one of my favorite musicians, and he's more honest in his music than most artists could dream to be. He's an acquired taste, thats for sure.
