Who else thinks in flames cds back in the day were amazingly crafted albums? The jester race, whoracle, etc. I think some of their new stuff as far as the 02 album and such are good, but the old is just amazing. I'm a pretty big fan, just looking for others
I used to have The Jester Race, and also the Tokyo Showdown live album... it was pretty neato, but I lost interest.
Yeah man. I used to be the biggest In Flames fan ever when I was like 15. Lately though, I've been getting sick of most of the metal I used to listen to, but I can still get down with some Jester Race or Lunar Strain. Subterranean is probably my all time favorite In Flames release just because of the amazing instrumentals and awesome piano parts. All in all - Awesome band. Fuck the last 3 releases!!
I was into InFlames a hell of a lot and still like them to some extent, but there has been a noticable change in their sound with recent albums. His singing, though sometimes annoying, is good and the musicianship is amazing. I am a massive fan of the InFlames instrumental pieces. They are WELL worth a listen. Especially with a drink in your hand or some chemicals in your system.
