I've had my dreads for about a week now, and I've washed them once, and otherwise when I shower I put a plastic bag over my head to keep them dry. Is this a good idea? Or should I stop being so paranoid about them falling out?

well, it's not a completely bad idea. i usually wear a bag over my head unless i'm washing. it helps dry my hair out to help it knot. i dont see why it would do any harm.

Yeah a shower cap (or two!) does it for me! They take SoOOO long to dry so no point in getting them wet if you're not washing them!
