Thanks, I just think that was way unnecessary even if that guy was being annoying as fuck. I don't even know what he was saying or doing, but a university is a place for the exchange of ideas. Not the exchange of high voltage from gestapo police taser guns to a students nervous system. His fucking body.

And digital bro, sorry to come across as an asshole, and much love to the canadians. But Ill tell you what though, one thing Im sick of is people in different societies trying to analyze the problems of my own society from their perspectives. Something is seriously wrong here, and its on a much bigger scale than whether or not using the taser was justified. And the cops in florida are even way more chill than the cops where I grew up. The whole mentality here is fucked. I know a few cops, and its like I know they arent bad people. But they get this mindset that is like straight sadistic, and on the flip side your average american hates/fears/mistrusts the police. As an adult I am absolutely outraged at many things that the police did to me in virginia, dc, and maryland from about age 13 until I moved away at 22. When I see stuff like this I get so fucking mad and frustrated, and if you lived here you would agree this is completely fucked up and something needs to change.

Ive seen footage of people smoking bongs in front of the police station in "vansterdam", and the cops walked up, gently took the bong, lightly grabbed the persons arm and escorted them inside. Probably to pay a fine and then go home. I've walked out of a 7-11 to have 5 cops rush me, put a gun to my head, cuff me, grab my balls, drag to me to the car sideways dislocating my shoulder, and detain me for an hour because he was rude to me inside and I didnt feed his ego. Ive been spit on by cops for skateboarding. So I think this really boils to the fact that a persons perspectives influences their perceptions.

That guy was an annoying asshole.
    But he didn't deserve that.
Kerry was more than happy to answer the question, the cops had no place interfering in the first place. Where were Kerry's security people anyways? If anyone had authority to remove that kid it was Kerry's people, not the campus security guards.

I have some questions about this. Was he a student? If so he had a right to be there. and I don't know why the fuck everyone keeps calling the university of florida private property, but whatever. Second when was the mic cut off? I havent seen that in any of the videos and I just watched a bunch. Also, why were the cops there already when he was speaking? Is he a known activist or something?

Yeah. He has a website of different pranks and such. I read somewhere that Kerry's party was fully aware of who this kid was in advance and they were fine with him being there.

Yeah but it doesnt really matter what kerry thinks when hes doing it in florida. tallahassee is controlled by jeb bush and other radical conservatives. I live in one of the major cities in florida, and the first baptist church has major political influence over the cops, city council, and a bunch of over shit. It makes more sense now that I know he was already public.

^ florida IS the most fucked up state as far as the law goes
I read a story in the paper about someone who got arrested for 25 years for trafficking a bottle full of hydrocodone, because the judge wouldn't allow their prescription as evidence because the law didn't say anything about emittance because of a prescription
it took the man two years to get the decision repealed and a new hearing set with the prescription being allowed - the state prosecutor is still going through with the case

Actually, the school IS considered private property wether you go there or not, it's YOUR PRIVALIGE, NOT RIGHT to be there, therefor if you are asked to leave, you must leave, if you do not comply, you will be acted upon, if you resist, actions will be taken

i really dont see how people are so against it, clearly in the video he was resisting the entire time, and who's to know what this guys gonna do when he's already asking such stupid/controversial questions?

the man he was questioning is a presidential candidate, do you not think cops would be present to protect such a person? if the guy started heading back down to the stage who's to say wtf he could have done [most likely nothing but it's still a risk] therefor police assesed the risk, and acted upon it

Police are trained officers of the law, regardless of reputation, they are trained to handle situatons like this, they acted upon it, the officer did what he thought was right, and imo it was the right descision, maybe you cop hating people shouldnt break laws and do things which put yourself at risk, then you may have a new respect for officers to attempt to keep the balance of peace and are there to protect people like you.

for what its worth...kerry explains the situation

"In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way.

I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption, but again I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention.

I asked the police to allow me to answer the question and was in the process of answering him when he was taken into custody.

I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building. I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured.

I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted."

Where the fuck are you getting this from? I dont know what its like in canada, but here state universities are not private property. They are given huge grants of taxpayer money from the state and feds. And if you are a matriculated student or whatever paying tuition, you better fucking believe its your right to attend an open forum like that.

I basically disagree with you on all on counts bro

haha bud, u dont know the first thing about anything it seems..just because you pay to go to school there you think you own it? you are entitled to go there? you can do whatever you want?

and what does me being Canadian have to do with it?

Gee..a publicly funded organization? thats weird! since that never happens with ANYTHING!

of course you have the right to attend, but being there doesnt give you the authority nor ability to be an idiot

this is on the same grounds as micheal richards calling that black guy a ******, just because you have the mic and attention of the crowd, does that mean you are allowed to speak whatever is on your mind? ask meaningless questions with the only motive to cause controversy? As I said before he put himself in that situation, and he paied the price, simple as that

who even gives a fuck this idiot got tazered, it's not like he was "fighting the power" or doing anything for any sort of "cause" he was trying to stir up somthing, of which he was known for, and of which he paied for.

like...he got tazered..he didnt get fucking shot...

    check this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y2a3N7ZEwk

but *cry *cry *cry "people die from being tazered"

    *yawn

Dude you are straight up fucking stubborn or stupid. What does canada have to do with it? Canadian cops are pussies by american standards, and canadian citizens are passive, civilized, and non violent. This is theory to you. Im done arguing with your ass.

According to the local judge, having empathy for others is having maturity. Apparently that must only apply in Amerika.
