I only have 23 dreads. They're pretty fat, I guess, but everyone else has so many.
I guess I'll get used to it.

 

I have about the same. I had 17 forming but ripped a few of those apart and have around the 23ish mark now.

 

Do you have any photos? Everyone I see has like 35-60, and I dont know if I've seen many people with less than 30. (thats not counting big congos. I have no congos.)

i have really thin hair and i don't really have a ton of dreads either. i've never counted, but i'd say it's around 30ish. a lot of them are really teeny, too. don't feel bad, i bet they're beautiful.

well if it makes you feel better i had around 55ish, but i have started letting some of em congo up as i want my dreads a little fatter (and they will insist on welding themselves together overnight anyway!) so i reckon by the time they are a couple of years old i will have around 35 dreads

 

At least count I had about 57 im aiming to get 69 though

I got around 32........more than that but I didn't count the scraggly ones.......ranging in size from like 1"-2" diameter congos to lil itty bitty worms......

 

Man, thats borderline normal, Shrew on Knottylocks.tk has 6! He used to have 13 from memory. And those yogis in India often have one giant uni-dread. Anyway, fat dread are the shizzle

 

this guy has like 25 locks, but they're only 5 months old.

 

dude, with my first set i had 19 and i have really thick hair and they were awesome if i do say so lol
fat dreads are sweet, i love them.

Ah I have about 18, but there is a lot of loose hair that will become locks eventually.
