Yayyy Happy Peace Day guys! http://www.internationaldayofpeace.org/ - just in case you want to find out more about it I spent the last couple of days making peace day cards in my spare time, hahah it was so fun =] I even got a few friends to help me make some, but they refused to walk around school with me, giving them to strangers So by today most of my friends knew that it was Peace Day, and that I was excited about it, and were all saying happy peace day to me like a hundred times during the day And I handed out all the cards, giving some to teachers, the ladies that work in the office, the principal (I saw him in the morning at the traffic lights ) and a few random students. Only one girl rejected me I don't understand why she wouldn't take the card, hahah it's not like I was selling her something! But it was a good day =] also because it was the last day before the HOLIDAYSSSS!!!! Well, here in Melbourne anyway =] And it felt really nice, because it seemed to really make most people happy! Especially the teachers, they thought it was really nice. So I'm really happy with how the day turned out =] even though there were quite a few people that thought it would be funny to make fun of me all day, hahah I didn't really care. Oh and at form assembly I told the teacher I had an announcement to make, and told the class that it was peace day, and I hoped they had a really great day =] my friends were so embarrassed hahahaha. Ahh well So the actual point of this thread, what did all of you guys do? Or planning to do :S depending on the different time zones :S its confusing Peace and Love happy peace day Jane
Today its the day after peace day here. But still a peace day to me umm what did i do yesterday.. been as hippie as i could be And sended my love to everybody i saw. unfortunately not every love vibe was returned. well anyway. happy peace day/week/month/year/life to my dear Jane and everybody here! Happy (late) Peace Day to you all!!!! This is now officially my favourite holiday! I made "Happy Peace Day" signs - one to put on my backpack and one to put on my door. So, everyone who walked by my dorm room or behind me at school today got "Happy Peace Day" wishes. I also drew a Peace Day picture for my friend, who's a liberal/vegetarian/environmentalist-type... and on the back, I wrote a note asking her to go to the next protest with me, and she said yes! Yay! And I told everyone in my family Happy Peace Day. And amazingly, my younger sister (who hates hippies), even told me Happy Peace Day back! And then I did some other fun stuff unrelated to Peace Day later in the evening, so basically, yesterday was the BEST DAY EVER! I hope everyone else had an awesome peace day, too! P.S. I love the idea of making every day a peace day. From now on, I'm going to try every day to spread peace and love to everyone. <3
I had a grand ol' peace day. I mean usually I look hippie-ish. Like a denim vest a phish T-shirt and ripped jeans that kind of thing, but today, or yesterday rather, I went nuts. Hemp-headband, tye-dies, birkenstocks, etc. I dont know what High school kids dont like about that, but it's sure as hell something. Anyway after school things came up I had my cousin and a friend up, my friend because he's the only other hippie I know and my cousin just cuz he has pot. Anyway we had a good time, but as far as in school goes. I mean they're are hippies they're I don't think anyone noticed what day it was.
