Except that they don't EXPLAIN it this way in the news. they tell you that nooses were hung, let some redneck hick explain it as "it was just kids being kids," and make it seem like 6 rogue black thug boys attacked an innocent, random white boy, leaving him severly beaten.

People keep blowing off the noose bit, esp. here in the south. Fact is, if someone hung a noose in the front yard of any of the people who are saying it's no big deal, they would be crying to the cops, and someone would be charged with making terroristic threats. but yet, black folks are just expected to get over it.

Yeah see I don't know what went on to say either way. I wouldnt put it past some small town DA in the south to be completely racist and disparaging in laying out charges. But at the same time, it is just straight fucked up and sadistic to stomp someone who is already out, especially 6 on 1. Seems to be the theme of the week. And that is beyond self defense.

But then again, you have to put it into context. I know I would prob be angry as fuck tooif I was black, probably poor, and stuck around a bunch of ignorant rednecks who hated me for no reason..

 

All I'm saying is the DA needs to take the irrationality fueled by blind anger and resentment in consideration when charging 6 youths with attempted murder.

If anyone has a reason to say throw the book at them anyway, its probably me. When I was younger I got robbed, beat up, and fucked with more times than I can count by gangs of black thugs. And in that city I couldnt even go to the police, because then their boys would come after you endlessly.

In the south, the whites have the blacks more in fear, and these ones happened to lash out a little bit which sounds like it surprised those simple minded fools.

i hadn't heard anything about it until yesterday, when a black coworker came in all pissed off and crying racism. now i finally tried to look up some actual information, but after 3 pages of google results i couldn't find anything that wasn't basically just an opinion article, so i give up
