Thanks everyone! I have fun with 'em! Actually, one of those congos for a long time I called "squid" because that's how it looked, separating after the first few inches into 7-8 locks. Alas, now that one's grown so together that you can barely tell it was separate at one time! Thanks for the compliments on the dress as well - I made it blue to match my eyes (not that you can see in that pic, but my eyes are way blue).
you are so beautiful. and your dreadies are awesome too. hope mine looks as good at 10 months. congrats on a sweet set of dreads
Two weeks ago No wax, just a bunch of sectioning, and got some good ones in by backcombing, but am letting hte rest come in by neglect. Havent washed for a week, but use dr. bronner peppermint. (9-13-07) this is now-
Hahaha, my naturals were by mistake, but i figure i'm pushing 3-4months, i'm not sure; I kept thinking it was two, but then i realised i didn't know which month it was.
ok got a little distracted there. my dreads were born on february 19th, 07. about a week after backcombing (they fell out even more soon after)- at like 4 or 5 months i think. i could find out but im too lazy- 6 months- and i think ill start a new thread for the ones i just took. peace
thanks but trust me, you made our day too *wink*. kudos to you for not using wax. my dreads are under the 10 month before and after thread. i didn't use wax either also, the more often you wash your hair, the faster it will dread up.
Here are some pics from over the summer, I'll have more up (it's been a few months since the pics and my dreads are a year+ now) once i take some pictures...aka never =p born: september 16, 2006 pictures=august 15, 2007
