I take 60mg of citalopram every day.

    1) How long would it take for me to start feeling rolls if I stop taking my medication completely?

    2) Would an increased dose of ecstasy (300mg of MDMA) allow me to feel the effects, or would I still not feel a thing?

    Not sure for either.

If you are taking SSRIs why would you stop to roll, you will be more depressed after.

Taking a higher dose of X will not resolve the issue.
Also you should consider the higher dose may be a higher dose of whatever else that might be cut with X.

    SSRI: Citalopram (Celexa, Cipramil,Seropram) half-life 23-75 hours

    Per the BlueLight.Ru article:
MDMA/Ecstasy (includes MDA, MDEA etc): It is NOT POSSIBLE TO ROLL while taking an SSRI! It is a COMPLETE and UTTER WASTE OF YOUR MONEY! Basically, SSRIs 'block' the part of your brain where the MDMA needs to go in order to get you high; and since MDMA can't get in there, you won't be able to get high. You might experience some weak 'speedy' effects from high doses of MDMA, but you will not be able to truly 'roll'.

Do NOT stop taking your SSRI so that you can roll. First of all, even if you stop taking it for a few days, it is unlikely that you will fully be able to roll. It takes much longer than a few days for all the SSRI (and its metabolites and effects) to leave your body (read above under 'metabolism'). Second, you can get VERY SICK (withdrawal symptoms, depression, etc) if you stop taking your medicine. I strongly suggest that you give up rolling while you are taking an SSRI.

First off, thanks a lot for the info INSANEPOOKIE. However, I am not stopping celexa to roll. I have been getting severe side effects and my depression has evened out, so I think I can handle being off medication. I will feel a lot healthier and mentally reassured knowing that I am okay on my own and free of SSRI's.

I was just wondering, seeing as I finally have some great pills, when would be a good time to try it, seeing as I am at a point where it is possible.

Any other feedback would be appreciated.

One more thing, I am PERMANENTLY stopping this medication. I have unlimited time to wait until I can try out these pills, I just want to know when a good time for a first trial would be.

I'm on zoloft and i'm stopping for a bit to do shrooms... also because I don't believe I need it anymore but my doctor wouldn't understand that.

Atleast for zoloft, it's half life is one day. That means if you stop taking it for one day, 50% of the amount in you will leave, then 50% from that amount will leave you the next day.

    IE: 100%, 50%, 25%, 12.5%, etc.

I used to take some heavy perscribed meds and had been off them for about two weeks before I rolled. It was my first time, the most intense time, and a really good time lol. Everyone will be different though, even what X is based with will determine your different experiance, ya know? I'd say wait atleast a week and I'm sure it'll be good. Just keep hydrated, (orange juice supposedly heightens the effects so I drank a lot) and take care of yourself! Hope I helped maybe even a little ;)

    peace

It's been a week now since I've stopped taking them, and I plan to roll on the thanksgiving weekend. I'm feeling much more optimistic that it will work now, thanks a lot for the reassurance guys!

PS. I've never been happier. I am getting over depression and instability in a much healthier way now, and I now longer feel the physical illness that I experienced with celexa. The withdrawl is almost over, and I can finally look forward to life again. Man I'm happy. And I haven't even rolled yet! :D
