sadly... I love them possibly in a desperate way ha ha! They were genius. Seriously, what would John be doing for this world if he still walked it? His ideas were amazing.
Do you people like.....worship these fuckers, or what? It just seems that you guys place entirely too much importance on their mediocre sound. They only had a handful of good songs, so I was just wondering. haha seems kinda pathetic.
No , I dont worship them , but being a fellow musician myself for 27 years , I can listen to what sounds like simple tunes and pick them apart and HEAR all the complex timing and thought that went into writing the music......and maybe its just that....one muscian being thankful to a handfull of musicians for the work that they did...and the songs that they wrote and played that made so many people happy...and still does. a BiG Thank You , from Gerri....
hahaha they're cool. I was just trying to get an uprising out of you people, but I guess you're all too passive. I actually love a few of their songs; not many though.
I love the beatles - their music and as individuals. I think the filmd A Hard Day's Night is so funny, it cracks me up. By the way, people always tell me I look like the beatles, esp ringo. I think alot of it has to do with the fact that my hair looks like theirs and the clothes I wear...black pea coat, black scarf, corduroy hat, etc. I never tried to look like them but it just happend but i like the way it looks.
another beatlemaniac here!! i have a deep passion for the band and can say theyre my fav. band of all time. they were so original/revolutionary, innovative, talented and so many other things. ive been listening to them all my life and im still obsessed. the beatles 'love' CD kind of commemorates or celebrates the mark they made on music and points out their incredible talent when they we're only in their 20's, (though i noticed this myself long ago listening to and seeing beatles shows etc., i liked it because the 'love' cd shares the spirit for sure.) i could really go on and on abt how much i like them. Lennon wanted to do and could have done alot to better this world. The spirit of the beatles was part of what inspired revolution, change and rebellion in this country in the 60s/70s. Hearing this band from the young hip days to being ontop of the rock and roll world and forever changing it is something truly incredible. I feel lucky to witness their success...after the fact. i only wish i could have made a concert. They were truly the best musically and they were pretty far up there when it comes to good people too. Part of my love for them came when i listened to sgt peppers on like my best shroom trip ever. Peace and rock on
I can relate to The Beatles's music so much. They never cease to amaze me. I must say John Lennon owned such an amazing and intellectual noggin.
I too, am completely infatuated with the beatles and have been since the age of 8. thats 10 plus years, and im still not sick of them! no worries though, i think they have that effect on quite a lot of people Beatlmania has lived on through the generations and will continue to live on through many more generations
