I was on ask._com earlier and saw that WB is in the process of making a movie about Kurt based on the biography ''Heavier than Heaven'' by R. Cross, which is claimed to be one of the most accurate bio of him ever written. It was estimated to be released at the end of 2007, which may not happen?. Word is that Ewan McGregor is the leading actor for Kurts part so far. If your not a fan of Nirvana or Kurt, then dont write bad shit on here. Matter of fact why even come on this thread if your not a fan?
Dude a Movie Kurt Cobain Would Be Awsome I Like Nirvana And A Movie Would Possibly Vamp Up Loyal Nirvana Fans But The Movie Industry Does Have A Rep For Disappointing the Public
there will be 3 "loyal nirvana fans" at the theaters surrounded by "the rest" it will be utter shite. but how many damn times do people need to hear kurts story anyfucking way? dont we all pretty much know how it goes by now?
no man. that came out in 2005 and it wasnt even about kurt, just some guy who was like him. this is supposed to be completey new. I just dont think its gonna be released in 2007, like planned.
yeah, it was a "fictionalized account", but that's why creative liscence is important. we all know Blake was supposed to be Kurt.
Heavier than Heaven? Charles Cross is an idiot!! He thought he knew what Kurt was thinking at every moment. He wrote things in there that are impossible to know. Start reading from page 352, halfway down, and you'll see what I'm saying.
A movie about kurts life would be the exact thing he wouldn't fucking want! I'm sure that if this movie does come to fruition, any "Loyal" Nirvana fan would be upset, and agree that it is exactly what kurt wouldnt want!
Yeah exactly. It's just another way courtney love can make more money other than fighting with the surviving members of the band over the releasing of previously unreleased tracks for box sets and videos. Kurt wouldn't want that I don't think.
Yeah, its called a movie called Last Days. I dont know a whole lot about Kurt, but i know from that movie he was destined to do what he did. It happens all the time . Kurt was fucked up, and he made up his mind, dont keep bringing his life back up. (Directed toward movie producers)
Heavier than Heaven is a good read, even if it's over exaggerated. It's bullshit that he shot himself too.
